The English Premier League has sent a montage of its goalkeepers’ best saves to the world of social media. Petr Cech was surprisingly left out.

The social media profiles of the world’s most-watched football competition are highly trafficked, with followers flocking to them to see exclusive content. This includes clips of beautiful goals, defensive saves or those made by the goalkeepers of each team.

One such cut has just been released by the Premier League’s digital content creators. It shows the best goalkeeping saves in the history of the competition. The video shows incredible leaps, quick reflexes or a succession of saves. Judge for yourself the level of the goalkeepers wearing the jersey of the island competition.

Perhaps a bit surprisingly, the compilation of the best saves is missing one from Petr Čech. The native of Pilsen has been in England for many years. Between 2004 and 2015 he represented Chelsea at club level, then he went on to play four seasons for Arsenal. Although he made many beautiful saves and thanks to him in particular Chelsea got very few goals, the video makers left him out this time.
