Changing of the guard! Czechs in the Premier League have surpassed Petr Cech’s incredible number!

Unbelievable! The Czech duo of Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal helped West Ham to an interesting victory. Now the Hammers are the club that has given Czech players the most minutes of any Premier League club.

Before Soucek and Coufal, other Czech players left their mark on the Hammers. Goalkeeper Luděk Mikloško played a huge number of minutes at West Ham, and later on, the stormer Tomáš Řepka also made his mark in the club’s history.

It is very interesting to note that 5 Czechs have already collected minutes in West Ham jersey and a sixth one, Alex Král, will be added soon. But until now, Chelsea have led the interesting club comparison!

Where the legendary Petr Cech has more or less caught everything! He played an incredible 29,526 minutes for the Blues! So how does the Premier League team table look like, according to the minutes they gave to Czech footballers?

West Ham have just replaced Chelsea and are likely to increase their minute difference significantly in the near future. In third place is Liverpool, where the Czechs have accumulated just over 20,000 minutes.

Arsenal London is fourth with almost 20,000 minutes. After that it’s a big drop (in minutes)!

However, Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal have thrown the doors wide open in England and hopefully we will see more Czech players in the best league in the world in the near future.
