Group E
In Group E, Chelsea topped the table with a 2-0 win over AC Milan, one point ahead of second-placed Salzburg. The Austrian champions drew with Dinamo Zagreb 1-1, Dinamo, like AC, are three points behind Chelsea.
Group F
Real Madrid failed to confirm their role as favourites in the group stage, drawing 1-1 with Shakhtar Donetsk in Poland. Antonio Rudiger scored an extra point for the White Ballet in stoppage time. Celtic fell 0:2 at home to Leipzig with two goals in the last fifteen minutes.
A point from Poland secured Real Madrid’s qualification for the spring season, while Leipzig jumped to second place with six points. Third-placed Shakhtar are on five points, Celtic have minimal chances of promotion, four points behind third place.
Group G
A 0:0 draw in Copenhagen saw Manchester City advance, while Dortmund and Sevilla also picked up a point (1:1). With seven points, the German runners-up are within reach of the eight-finals, with Copenhagen and Sevilla just two points behind.
Group H
Group H is the only group that still has two unbeaten teams. Benfica and PSG drew 1-1 in their second game together, with ex-Slav Alexander Bah also in attendance. At the same time, Juventus surprisingly fell to Maccabi Haifa 0:2.
Paris and Benfica remain on eight points, both even have the same goal difference. Juventus and Maccabi are both on three points, with only a better score keeping Juventus in third place for now.
