The fight between Matěj Peňáze and Vlast Čep will probably not happen anytime soon. The Czech fighter got a chance to compete for a UFC contract in Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. What did Čepo himself have to say about it, who will probably have to look for a new opponent?

Matej Peňáz may be the next Czech to show up in the prestigious MMA organization UFC. He will be on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series.

If he puts on a good and interesting performance and backs it up with a win, he has a chance to get a contract and make his dream come true.

His fight with Vlast Čep will very likely not happen anymore. What did Čepo have to say? According to his words, he wishes him this chance.

“What can I say? Only that I wish him good luck and that I am happy that they took him. I hope he gets the contract, because I root for every domestic fighter who is normal.

That our fight doesn’t happen? I guess it was meant to be. I was looking forward to the fight, but to make a tragedy out of it? I’m sure it wasn’t. If we’re going to meet, we’re going to meet in the future,” Shorties told MMA.
