Celtic and Rangers react to fan conflicts. The last two derbies of the season will be played without away supporters
Celtic and Rangers are already clear on who will win the Scottish league. However, the two giants will face each other once more in the league. Plus, there’s the Cup semi-final. Both games will be played without the visiting team’s fans.

The Scottish league still has five rounds to go, but the winner is more or less decided. Celtic have only a nine-point lead, but they are playing very well and are much better than their rivals Rangers.
However, Rangers are hoping to make the most of their lead and also want to take advantage of the match they have coming up. But it will be at Celtic Park and without their fans.
The next chance for the trophy will be for the blue team from Glasgow in the Scottish Cup, when it will be played at Ibrox Stadium for a change. And just as Rangers fans can’t go to Celtic Stadium, so can Green and White fans not go to Rangers Stadium.
The first of the Old Firm derbies will be played on April 8, with the second scheduled for April 30. And why the ban on away fans in the first place? It is in response to the behaviour of both fan camps when there have been fights around town or various incidents at both stadiums.
Earlier, the number of tickets allocated to away fans had already started to decrease because of this. Last season the number of tickets for away supporters was reduced from 7,000 to 700 and Rangers chief executive Stewart Robertson defends the move to this day.
In addition, he outlined that ticket numbers are unlikely to return to the numbers of the past again.
Of course, a lot will depend on the situation with the fans and their behaviour.
