Carla Suárez Navarro is battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She learned of her diagnosis in early September. The Spanish tennis player went into her battle with the lymph node cancer with a positive mind.
Carla Suárez Navarro is battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She learned of her diagnosis in early September. The Spanish tennis player went into her battle with the lymph node cancer with a positive mind.
She decided to cut her hair completely short and stated on social media that it is very important to stay active and positive, which she really sticks to.
She uses the social media form to show her fans both footage of her workouts, which she continues to use to keep in shape, and her positive attitude, which Carla helps herself to by riding on a bike trainer or squatting with a large barbell.
Her friends who come to visit her also keep her in a good frame of mind.
Carla Suárez Navarro greatly appreciates the support of her fans and friends. She never forgets to mention this gratitude and thank everyone.

This season was to be Suárez’s last, after which she wanted to say goodbye to her tennis career. Due to the coronavirus pandemic she decided to postpone her decision and end her career next year.
These were her plans before doctors diagnosed her with cancer.
Now, Suárez hopes to beat her illness and be able to say goodbye to her tennis career with dignity.
