Milan Ďatelinka is not experiencing the best moments of his wrestling career. The 25-year-old MMA fighter fell to Dominik Humburger in the second round at RFA 6 and subsequently dropped his gloves in the center of the cage. Does this mean the end of his career?

When he defeated David Hosek in December 2020, he asked for a title fight with Karlos Vemola. For many, he took an unnecessarily big bite, which was then shown in the fight.

Vemola finished him in the first round on a sumbisi and although he won the title fight, he did not receive the championship belt as he failed to make the weight limit the day before. So you could say the fight hurt both of them.

But while Vemola has only been winning since then, it’s the opposite for Cloverleaf. He also fell to Nenad Avramovic in the first round at the organization’s inaugural tournament, and now he’s shown up at RFA 6.

And he wasn’t happy to win there either. Although he was energetic in the cage, he didn’t excel much in it. At the beginning he was the better fighter, but Dominik Humburger of the Czech Republic took the reins.

After a few hard shots it was clear, the Slovak scored his third defeat in a row and finally came the surprise of a glove in the middle of the cage.

With this gesture, the wrestler announces the end of his career. Only Cloverleaf himself knows how much it was a spontaneous idea or a premeditated move.

However, at the age of twenty-five, he still has plenty of time ahead of him and we can expect to see him in the cage again. Even after a longer break.

“I hope that it was just strong emotions that will pass and Milan will have his career ahead of him. I believe he will get back on the winning streak again,” promoter Boris Marhanský told a press conference.
