Can’t we have Haaland? We’ll get his cousin! 17-year-old Tjaaland is clamouring for attention

Erling Haaland is a star in demand by all the world’s big clubs. But not all of them will be able to afford him and only one of them can get him. No wonder they are looking at other potential options. One of them is Haaland’s 17-year-old cousin Albert Tjaaland.

Erling Haaland is a star in demand by all the world’s big clubs. But not all of them will be able to afford him and only one of them can get him. No wonder they are looking at other potential options. One of them is Haaland’s 17-year-old cousin Albert Tjaaland.

Albert Tjaaland is quite possibly the next rising star in Norwegian football. It is probably only a matter of time before he joins his cousin Erling Haaland and another Norwegian star Martin Odegaard in the national team.

He is currently a player at Molde, where Haaland also played. However, Tjaaland came from Bryne FK, making his debut in their jersey at the age of 16. This is a second league team. Tjaaland scored 40 goals in 31 games in the junior league.

He signed a contract with Molde last summer. Since then, according to Marca, he has scored an incredible 64 goals in 37 games at youth level. No wonder he was called up to the A-team, where he will gradually get opportunities.

The 17-year-old talent has even been given one. He played in a cup match, in which he made his mark. Haaland’s relative is simply undeniable. He came on in the 83rd minute, and in the set-up he increased the score to 4-1 in Molde’s favour against a third-league team.

No wonder the big clubs are starting to circle around him. They are also circling around his older and more famous cousin, but given the high price of Haaland, some clubs find it worthwhile to invest in Tjaaland.

In particular, there is much talk of interest from Manchester United. After all, coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has managed Molde and Tjaaland’s cousin in the past, but the 17-year-old talent is a Liverpool fan.

Typologically, Tjaaland is almost identical to his cousin. However, a potential move to England is complicated by the fact that due to Brexit he cannot sign a contract before he turns 18, which will be in February.

More clubs can be expected to approach the 17-year-old talented marksman. Especially those who are unable to get Haaland. Among them, of course, could be his dream Liverpool.
