Can Patrik Schick resist? The Czech sniper is reportedly being courted by the famous Barcelona
Patrik Schick is having a great season. Since the Euros, he has been thriving individually, but at the same time his Leverkusen team has been thriving as well. The Czech striker has already scored a respectable 18 goals in the Bundesliga this season, with 13 games still to go. It is no wonder that Schick is also being courted by big clubs, with FC Barcelona one of the other potential suitors!

It is no wonder that Schick is also being courted by big clubs, with FC Barcelona one of the other potential suitors!
Schick celebrated his 26th birthday on Monday and has scored an incredible 32 goals across all competitions since his last birthday. Since his 25th birthday, he has been reaching for the Golden Boot for the EURA top scorer or also the top goal of the year.
In both cases, he didn’t get the coveted award and many are clear! He was “robbed”. Anyway, Schick doesn’t have to be so sorry. Football fans and the whole footballing public realise what a progression he has undergone and that he is now one of the real top footballers.
Therefore, it is no wonder that there is talk of interest from big clubs such as PSG, Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund and, according to the Spanish media, the famous FC Barcelona have also reportedly joined.
However, the Czech sniper has recently made it clear that he is not going anywhere now and that he is perfectly happy at Leverkusen. This is true now, but it may be different in the summer transfer period.
The national team forward has a contract with Bayer Leverkusen until 2025. Thus, it can be expected that if a transfer takes place in the near transfer window, a potential suitor will give himself a good slap on the wrist.
Therefore, the question is whether a debt-ridden Barcelona could afford Schick’s transfer. Either way, the Spanish concept of football could suit Patrick.
Another question mark is whether a move to the current Barcelona would be a step backwards. Bayer Leverkusen are currently third in the Bundesliga, Barcelona are fifth in the Spanish La Liga.
