Burnley vs. Watford: Preview and betting tips

Saturday’s Fortuna League programme will be completed by a rescheduled Premier League match between Burnley and Watford. Premier Sport will broadcast the six-point match for the rescue. What to expect from the last-last-last clash?

Burnley are last in the table but have two games in hand against Watford. They are four points behind seventeenth-placed Norwich, but the Canaries have four games to play. So Burnley still have a chance of salvation.

Watford, on the other hand, have taken a step backwards in the last two rounds. They drew with Newcastle, lost to Norwich and dropped from seventeenth to nineteenth. They are currently two points behind the relegation places.

In an important game, all eyes will be on Wout Weghorst, the burly striker joined Burnley from Wolfsburg in the winter. In addition, Maxwel Cornet, author of six league goals, has already returned from the African Cup of Nations.
