Martin Buday will have the most important fight of his career. The heavyweight champion of the Octagon organization will fight at the Dana White’s Contender Series event.
At this event he will fight for the UFC, which is the dream of most domestic fighters. But a week before the fight, there was some not so good news.
Buday will fight a different opponent, Hugo Cunha had to withdraw and his new opponent will be American Lorenzo Hood.
The thirty-two year old fighter has a record of 12: 4, however, he has ended all his victorious fights by KO or TKO, always in the first round.
In addition, he currently holds a streak of three wins in a row. Buday, however, is confident in his qualities and doesn’t want anything but a win.
His record in professional MMA is 8:1. If he wins, he could become the second Slovakian representative in the UFC. The first is Lajos Klein.
