Brentford vs. Watford: Preview and betting tips

Brentford welcome Watford in the Premier League Round of 16 preview. Both teams need a win to avoid a position near the relegation zone. What to expect from the game?

Brentford, after a good start to the season, has fallen into the average and is gradually slipping closer and closer to the relegation zone. Still, the first league newcomer can remain calm for now, with a seven-point lead on the relegation places.

Brentford, with nineteen goals scored, are by no means one of the worst shooting teams, but have run out of steam in recent weeks. In only two of the last six games has he scored at least two goals.

Watford have one more shot overall, but on the other hand they have the third worst defensive record (29 goals conceded). In their last three away games, they have scored a total of seven goals.
