Brentford vs. Everton: Preview and betting tips
Brentford take on Everton in the thirteenth round of the Premier League. Both clubs are struggling and a win would give them some peace of mind for a while. Who should we expect three points from?
Brentford take on Everton in the thirteenth round of the Premier League. Both clubs are struggling and a win would give them some peace of mind for a while. Who should we expect three points from?
Brentford are struggling after a great start to the season and have dropped down to fourteenth in the table. The newcomer to the relegation places already has a gap of only four points, so they need to score on Sunday.
Even Everton have stopped picking up points, while for a while it looked like a Champions League fight. But now the Toffees are only twelfth and are six points clear of the relegation places. That’s a shame considering the squad.
Brentford rely on Ivan Toney, the English striker scored three goals and assisted twice. The winger Bryan Mbeumo, the stopper Christoffer Ajer and the midfielder Christian Norgaard are also performing well.
Abdoulaye Doucouré is Everton’s mainstay, the French midfielder scored two goals and assisted four times. Summer signing Andros Townsend boasts a 3+2 record, although her dust has settled recently.
Brentford have struggled defensively, conceding eleven goals in the last five rounds.
Everton, on the other hand, are not scoring goals, scoring only once in the last three rounds.
Considering the quality of the away team and the struggling home defence, I think Everton will not lose.
