Brazilian super talent and future Real Madrid signing continues to struggle as pressure mounts

Endrick, who is still only 16 years old, has not been doing well since his transfer to Real Madrid was announced. The club even left him out of the squad for the last game.

The young Brazilian footballer and very talented striker will join Real Madrid in 2024. He did not hesitate to make a huge offer of 60 million euros, despite the fact that he is still only sixteen years old.

It has been a while since the official announcement of this transfer and Endrick has been struggling since then.

Since then he has played twelve games in which he has been held scoreless and has not contributed much to his teammates.

The coach of his current club Palmeiras, Abel Ferreira, even left him out of the squad for the last two games, saying that he made this decision to relieve the footballer from the enormous pressure that is being put on him by the football public.

Real Madrid even sent their scout to Brazil, who played a significant role in the youngster’s transfer. He tried to explain to him that he didn’t have to acknowledge any pressure.

During the match against Bragantino, Endrick was substituted and immediately afterwards he sat on the substitutes’ bench, put his distinctive jersey over his head and burst into tears.

“Yes, it’s true. He cried. He has to stay calm. There’s a lot of pressure on him now because he’s expected to score five or six goals at a time and he’s trying to cope with that,” the Palmeiras coach said after the game.

“The goal will come at the right time. He just has to stay calm and smile,” added scout Ferreira. It’s fair to say, a crisis in the game sometimes comes to every player. Endrick certainly doesn’t need to be subject to any negative feelings, although at such a young age it is obviously very difficult.
