Bournemouth had a tough draw to start with, but they put in a decent performance at home to West Ham and at Bournemouth. A draw and a loss at Anfield are an acceptable start that can lead to a rescue among the elite once again.

Tottenham are a pleasant surprise in the competition, even without Harry Kane they look decent. After the draw at home to Brentford, they surprisingly outplayed Manchester United in terms of game and results, netting two goals.

Bournemouth are held by goalkeeper Neto, the Brazilian goalkeeper was one of the main driving forces last season. Dominic Solanke, a feared striker especially on Championship turf, scored the Cherries’ first round point.

Tottenham’s key figures

James Maddison has been excellent in midfield, the English midfielder already has three assists. Sixth man Yves Bissouma is also performing well after a poor season last year, with Italian international Guglielmo Vicario shining in goal.

What to expect and what to bet on?

Bournemouth are looking good offensively so far, scoring more than once in just one of their last four games. Last year, in the second half of the season, the Cherries were on the offensive, scoring two goals against Arsenal and four against Tottenham.
