Popular fighter Paige VanZant will be fighting her third bout with BKFC, an organization that organizes fights without gloves. For now, she has no opponent, but she has an interesting challenge. Will she take it?
Paige VanZant has signed a very lucrative contract with the BKFC. After all, it was a UFC star, which, moreover, could be of great benefit, especially from a marketing point of view. And that marketing aspect is the main thing that helps the organization so far.
After all, she has lost twice in two fights and is under a bit of pressure because she was expected to do a bit more. However, the American fighter makes no secret of the fact that she wants to enjoy her life now and wants to do what she enjoys and what can make her more money.
In short, she’s probably not so hungry anymore. Or rather, she is, but she’s hungry to earn money. That’s one of the reasons why she’s made her debut with AEW, the number two wrestling organization in the US behind WWE.
But soon she might just have a very interesting opponent in the BKFC – the very hungry Bec Rawling, who wants revenge on VanZant. Like VanZant, Rawlings has also worked in the UFC, albeit with much less success.
Rawlings, meanwhile, was one of the few women in the organization when she made her BKFC debut in 2018. Now she has many female competitors to choose from and wants a rematch with VanZant, who defeated her under the UFC banner.
“She beat me with a lucky kick in MMA, so now I would like to beat her in a no-holds-barred fight. That fight makes sense for the fans and for my pride. I’m definitely going to push for this fight,” Rawlings was quoted by MMA Fighting.
It’s worth noting that Rawlings has a positive 3:0 record in the BKFC. VanZant lost to former UFC fighters Rachael Ostovich and Britain Hart.
