After 36 years, Bohemians return to the European Cups. In the second round of the Conference League, the Kangaroos will face Bodo/Glimt from Norway. How will the match play out and what to bet on?

Bohemians had two chances to qualify for the cups in the spring. At one point they were in the semi-finals of the Mol Cup and in fourth place in the table.

In the end, they defended fourth place and will play in the European Cups after thirty-six years. The draw for the second round of the Conference League was awarded to Bodo/Glimt.

The Norwegian side first came to prominence in October 2021 when they beat AS Roma 6-1 at home to José Mourinho’s AS Roma. In the rematch of the Conference League group stage, they drew 2-2 in Rome.

In Norway, the game is played on a spring-autumn system, so Bodo/Glimt will have the advantage of spacing. Bohemians have only played one competitive match.

Bodo/Glimt dominate the Norwegian line without any major problems, the only setback came at the end of June/July. The Eliteserien leader lost to Stromsgodset and drew with Molde in three games, but then got back on a winning streak.

He beat Odd, Ham-Kam in the cup, Haugesund and Sandefjord. He scored 11 goals and conceded only three. The team’s biggest threat is 33-year-old striker Amahl Pellegrino, who is the league’s second top scorer with 14 goals.

But Bohemians also tuned in victorious. In the duel in Pardubice, Lukáš Hůlka opened the scoring in the fifth minute, and the Kangaroos then maintained their one-goal lead until the end.

The Kangaroos will try to get the best possible result in Prague, so it is expected that they will rely on a very honest defense. If the Norwegians fail to unlock it, there might not be many goals.
