Bellingham to Real Madrid? The best players belong there, Alaba is clear

A generational talent. That’s what you could call Bellingham. At the age of 16 he started playing in the Championship for Birmingham, where he played 44 games in his first season, scoring 4 goals and adding 2 assists.
Subsequently, he had his pick of offers, with all the English big clubs wanting him. But Bellingham was not sure about the workload and so he followed in the footsteps of three years older Jadon Sancho and went to Borussia Dortmund. Although transfers abroad are not that common among English players, Jude knew that BVB was the best club for his development. The club relies on young players.
And it was a hit and miss, just like Sancho. Bellingham was quickly integrated into the starting line-up, and in his second season in the Bundesliga he was one of the driving forces of the yellow and black. And he was still only 18 years old!
The central box-to-box midfielder has a huge radius of action, one moment you see him helping out the defensive line, the next he’s complementing Borussia’s attacking action. He has a great physique and his age is also admirable for his vision of the game and game intelligence. He can also help with numbers, with a record of 5+9 this season.
No wonder that almost all the world’s big clubs are queuing up for him. But some are put off by his price tag, with Borussia asking over €100 million for their gem. According to BILD, Real Madrid and Liverpool are the biggest suitors for Bellingham’s services at the moment.
But the Spanish giant, who once again dominated the Champions League this year, is of course the most talked about, and a generational renewal in the midfield, which has already begun. The talented trio of Eduardo Camavinga, Aurélien Tchouaméni and Federico Valverde are currently at the Santiago Bernabéu and have been used in the attacking line recently.
But Bellingham would surely find his place in Madrid’s midfield, something that even Alaba, who strengthened the White Ballet last summer and praised the English midfielder in an interview with Welt newspaper, has no doubt about.
“Bellingham is one of the biggest talents in the world in terms of midfield. And at a very young age! At the age of 19, he is already leading the team, not hiding behind anyone and already deciding games,” the Austrian defender was quoted as saying.
