Bellingham should have chosen Real Madrid. At the Bernabéu will be the successor of Kroos with Modric

Jude Bellingham is one of the greatest talents in the world. He is probably the hottest commodity on the transfer market at the moment, with the biggest giants from all over the world lining up for him. And the English midfielder has already had his pick, he’s reportedly keen to head to Madrid.

That Bellingham is exceptional is confirmed with virtually every step of his career. He started playing for Birmingham in England’s second division at the age of 16 and has played 41 games in the tough league, amassing four goals and two assists.

So Borussia Dortmund came knocking on the door and Bellingham didn’t refuse. However, he left such an impression at Birmingham that the club scrapped his number as a tribute, something only done with the club’s greatest legends.

At Dortmund, too, the super-talented youngster immediately began to confirm his brilliance. In the current season he has already scored 8 goals, is a huge leader of Borussia and even wears the captain’s armband. Moreover, he has scored in all four Champions League matches in a tough group with Manchester City, Sevilla and Copenhagen.

According to several leading English and Spanish media outlets such as The Athletic or Tellegraph (UK) or MARCA, Relevo and Goal (SP), Bellingham has chosen Real Madrid, who are also quite keen on the 19-year-old.

According to journalist Jorge C. Picon of Relevo, Bellingham’s entourage has already informed that Jude has chosen Real Madrid. The latter was supposed to acquire the young midfielder to succeed Kroos with Modric, whose career is slowly coming to an end.

Bellingham is said to see Los Blancos as an ideal option, seeing the development of Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga or Aurélien Tchouaméni.

At the same time, all sources agree that Bellingham’s transfer will be the most expensive in history in terms of midfielder transfers. Borussia have previously made it clear that they will not even consider offers below €150 million.

However, Mario Cortegana of MARCA recently reported that Real Madrid have a €400 million transfer budget and will definitely be willing to spend. In fact, he has kept a lot of money in the past few years and has saved up money that he can now invest in his future.
