Bellingham continues to amaze the world. He’s 11 points in nine games, fans are clamoring for the Golden Ball. How can he be only 20? wonders Ancelotti
Jude Bellingham is absolutely the clear transfer of the summer, maybe of the last few years. The way he has settled in at Real Madrid is incredible. He scores goal after goal and drags Real Madrid along until Carlo Ancelotti wonders how old he actually is.

It was clear that whoever caught Belingham would get the target. Apart from Real Madrid, Manchester City and Liverpool were also interested in the England international, but the 20-year-old preferred Real Madrid before returning home. “You can’t turn down an opportunity like this,” he explained of coming to Spain.
Of course, few expected Bellingham to catch on so quickly. Real’s leading scorer Karim Benzema left, and the sought-after reinforcement Kylian Mbappé did not arrive.
And with Vinícius injured, there was concern over who would score the goals. And that’s when Bellingham took charge. He scored in all four of the opening four La Liga games, once even twice, and added an assist.
He scored the winner in the Champions League opener in stoppage time, registered 1+1 against Girona at the weekend, and had the same record against Napoli. In total, in 9 games he has scored 8 goals and 3 assists, of which four were winning goals.
In Naples he gave another of his fantastic performances. First, he picked out the home team’s cross and passed the ball to Vinícius, who equalised at 1-1. Moments later, he took the ball just outside the box and made a stunning solo run into the box, where he finished just inside the post.
Logically, his fantastic form is not going unnoticed. The fans are already calling for the Ballon d’Or. However, at the end of October, the winner for last season will be announced and the current performances will count for the next vote, so Bellingham will have to maintain his form throughout the season.
“What really surprises me about Bellingham is that he is only 20 years old. He has tremendous quality, but above all he is as mature and mature as if he were 30,” marveled Carlo Ancelotti in his post-match press conference.
