Bedard out for several weeks, Hyman’s hat trick takes down the Senators, Barkov celebrates 700th NHL game with four points

Youngster Connor Bedard is out of the Chicago lineup for several weeks after suffering a broken jaw. Forward Zach Hyman scored a hat trick against Ottawa. Aleksander Barkov played his jubilee game in a wild game at Colorado.

Bedard suffered a nasty injury

Connor Bedard didn’t finish the game against the New Jersey Devils after he had to leave the game during the first period due to a sharp collision with defenseman Brendan Smith. He did not return to the game and a post-game examination revealed a nasty injury.
