Lionel Messi has had his first season at PSG and he certainly hasn’t done badly at all. He has scored some wonderful goals and assists. The club has now released a video of his best moments of the season.

One of the best footballers in history changed venues for the first time in his career a year ago and the whole world was curious to see how he would perform. It didn’t look good at first, but it ended up being no disgrace, quite the opposite.

Lionel Messi had his worst season in terms of goals since 2005/06, but when he did score, it was worth it! He scored a total of 11 goals, however, several of them were prevented by either great saves by the goalkeepers or goal structures.

Instead of goals, the Argentine collected assists, with 15. There could have been more, but even cannoneers like Kylian Mbappé simply don’t convert 100% of their big chances.

And that Messi was criticised? Wrongly. Statistical servers rank the PSG star not only among the best players in the French league, but across Europe in general. He has been getting great reviews and is once again one of the highest rated footballers all season.

PSG released a video on Friday highlighting Messi’s most magical moments in a Parisian jersey. Several beautiful goals and some great assists only confirm how exceptional a footballer he is.

Messi recently admitted that he did not enjoy his first year at PSG. That is why he wants to stay at the club next season and wants to enjoy the season to the fullest. At the end of the last season, it was clear that he had acclimatised and he will definitely want to show his full potential in the next one.
