SK Slavia Prague finally made it through the last match of the Conference Europa League preliminary round and will now face a battle in the group stage! Ivan Schranz scored one of the most important goals of his career in the 120th minute. Take another look at his decisive goal.
Just like with Sevilla three years ago. Slavia Prague showed a very decent team performance in their home game against Raków, especially in the second half when the Prague team went on to win.
First of all, Moses Usor delighted the home fans by sending Slavia into the lead in the 62nd minute. Already on this goal Usor was assisted by Slovak Schranz.
His biggest moment, however, came in overtime, or rather at the end of it. In the 120th minute, Peter Olayinka sent a really fluffy ball into the area in front of the goal, which Schranz pounced on and decided the whole double-header.
Slavia defeated Polish Raków 2:0 and can look forward to the Europa League group stage.
In addition to the already solid sporting success, Slavia can also rejoice in a considerable income – Schranz literally shot Slavia 72 million CZK.
This makes the Prague club the third Czech team to be seen in the next stage of the European Cups. In addition to Slavia, Slovácko, who knocked out AIK Stockholm, and Viktoria Plzeň overcame Karabakh in earlier days. Barcelona, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich will face them in the Champions League group stage.
