Bayern Munich vs. Manchester United: Preview and betting tips

After the weekend’s performances of both teams, the favourite is more than obvious. Manchester United dismantled Brighton, who have been playing well for a long time, and on Wednesday they will travel to Munich, where Bayern await them in decidedly better form.

However, the German giant also stumbled for the first time at the weekend, only drawing 2-2 with Leverkusen after 3 league wins. This is the second time this season that Thomas Tuchel’s charges have failed to win. At the beginning of the season they lost to RB Leipzig in the Super Cup.

In this respect, no one doubts that Bayern will pass their first opponent in this year’s Champions League quite clearly. But Manchester United have already shown several times that it does not pay to underestimate them. PSG could talk about it for days.

The odds on the home team to win are around 1.55, while the Over 2.5 bet is around 1.5. In both cases, this is a very likely scenario. Personally, though, I would see the big opportunity in the goals.

If anything isn’t working, it’s definitely the defense. In the last two games Manchester United have gotten 6 goals combined. But they have always scored at least one themselves, so a similar scenario is to be expected with Bayern’s attacking quality.
