A delegation from Munich arrived in London on Monday. The management of the Bavarian club came in person to discuss the transfer of Harry Kane. Tottenham’s position remains unchanged.

The transfer saga, which has been dragging on for several weeks now, and it seems we will have to wait a while for its unravelling.

There is a lot of activity around Harry Kane every transfer window. One of the early suitors this year was Real Madrid, who have been monitoring the situation surrounding Kane, especially shortly after Karim Benzema decided to leave the club.

It is now clear that the only really serious bidder remains Bayern Munich, who have already made two offers to the London club’s management. The first, which was in the amount of 70 million euros + possible bonuses, was immediately swept off the table. Even the improved second offer did not meet with success. It was increased by a fixed ten million euros.

With the start of the new season approaching, the management of both clubs would surely have liked to have resolved the matter as soon as possible. The situation cannot give the coaches of both teams any peace of mind either. They would probably like to know who they can count on for the upcoming season.

It was to speed up the negotiations that the Bavarian club’s management arrived directly in London, where they met with the Roosters’ chairman, Daniel Levy. He is well known to the general public as a great businessman, who nobody likes to deal with.

The meeting ended in failure for the German big club for now, as Tottenham Hotspur’s position is still the same. They want more money.

At the moment, Bayern Munich’s offer and the London club’s idea differ by around 20 million euros. Even so, the management of the reigning German champion is calm and they will continue to push for a transfer.

They are now preparing a new and improved offer that should be closer to the required amount and for this reason they are also waiting for now to invest more money in the possible arrival of a new goalkeeper.
