“If Harry leaves the pitch early, then something has definitely happened. He was limping and didn’t look well. But I’ve already heard from the doctors that it’s probably nothing serious,” kicker.de quotes Bayern sporting director Max Eberl as saying after the game.

“It was quite painful,” Kane himself reported immediately after the game. As it seems, then, the concern for one of the old continent’s top scorers was premature. Sunday’s examination will show whether Kane will start in Wednesday’s Champions League match against Aston Villa.

Kane’s possible absence would be bad news for Bayern. The Englishman has already scored ten goals and added four assists in all competitions this season. He needed only seven games. The Czechs in Leverkusen colours (Kovar and Schick) have not scored since the game.
