Bocu Juniors have a match in the Argentine league on Saturday, they travel to Barracas. While the home team is playing for salvation, Boca has the highest ambitions. What to expect from the match and what to bet on?
Barracas did not have a good start to the second part of the season, after two draws on Wednesday they lost 1:2 to Union Santa Fe with two goals in the first 15 minutes. They dropped to 24th place in the table, one point away from the relegation zone.
Boca, on the other hand, managed a shootout with Tigre in the week and a 5: 3 win took them to six points. In the table, this is enough for one of the title hopefuls to finish fourth, with first-placed Estudiantes just one point behind.
Neri Bandiera is firing in the Barracas jersey, the skillful winger has scored five times and assisted once. Offensive midfielder and team captain Iván Tapia scored three goals and assisted on three. He is only 23 years old.
For Boca, Darío Benedetto, an experienced striker with national team experience, scored fourteen goals and assisted twice. Winger Sebastián Villa netted seven goals and assisted seven others.
The home side should be complete, while Boca will miss Eduardo Salvio and Carlos Zambrano. Barracas have struggled in attack, scoring more than once in just one of their last four games.
And they will have a tough time against Boca, who have scored more than once in only one of their last seventeen games. Given the defensive form of Boca, I think the visitors will win.
