Joan Laporta is quite a well-known figure in the world of football. He is currently the president of Barcelona and now he has commented on the departure of Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid, his team’s biggest rival. According to him, however, the arrival of the Frenchman will create havoc in the cabin.

Real Madrid is close to a new signing. Kylian Mbappé is headed to the Los Blancos and fans are just waiting for the official announcement. He will arrive from PSG at the end of his contract, so the team from the Spanish capital will get him for free.

The word free is an exaggeration, although Real won’t have to pay anything to PSG, but Mbappé’s wages will cost them a lot of money. And that, according to the president of rival Barcelona, could be the problem.

“When we talk about the numbers that are part of the deal, it certainly disturbs the mood in the dressing room, ” said Joan Laporta, who doesn’t have to deal with similar problems at Barcelona. Although it certainly can’t be said that they don’t have to deal with problems in Barcelona.

Real will have a problem with Mbappé, said Laporta

The question is whether Laporta really thinks that Mbappé’s arrival will make a mess in the Real cabinet, or if it is more of a wishful thinking. Either way, he’s right in that Real will have to deal with the arrival of new reinforcements, for whom there will be no room in the lineup.

“I don’t know if they will sign him or not. We’ll see. If they do, they will have a problem there. They will have to move someone, right? Because two players won’t play the same position,” he added.

His position is played by Vinicius Junior, but he is highly valued at Real. The most likely to go is the thirty-three-year-old Joselu, who arrived in the summer from Espanyol, Barcelona’s other rival.

However, he has also been substituted in recent games and we can see Brahim Díaz or Rodrygo in attack. So one of them will have to miss out on playing more regularly. Or there will be some interesting transfer in the summer.
