Barcelona reacts to Frankfurt fans! Tickets will be non-transferable for international competitions
While the world was delighted with how many Eintracht Frankfurt supporters made it to the Camp Nou, the Catalan side’s management did the opposite. They didn’t like the fact that Barcelona fans sold their tickets, which made the Germans essentially a home crowd.
While the world was delighted with how many Eintracht Frankfurt supporters made it to the Camp Nou, the Catalan side’s management did the opposite. They didn’t like the fact that Barcelona fans sold their tickets, which made the Germans essentially a home crowd. And now they’ve come up with a solution to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
On Thursday, there were a whopping 30,000 Eintracht Frankfurt fans at the Camp Nou! This feat is truly unprecedented, but not everyone is happy about it.
In fact, the German fans got their tickets through the Barcelona fans who sold them to them. Eintracht fans otherwise had only 5,000 seats allocated.
Many Barcelona fans were angry as to how the club could do such a thing and sell them tickets, but now there has been a statement from the president of Laporta who said that the club really did not sell tickets in Germany.
Moreover, he offered a solution that will prevent something like this from happening in the future and the guests will have an almost home-like atmosphere.
“We don’t want it to happen again and we will take action. That is why we have taken the measure that for international competitions tickets will be non-transferable. The club is not to blame for people breaking the rules.
We have done what we can to avoid that. But some people will do it even if it harms the club and the fans who go to support the team at Camp Nou,” he said.
