Barcelona have secured a great talent. Yamal signed until 2026

Lamine Yamal has been the clear standout of the La Liga season so far. Only 16 years old, the youngster has been playing regularly for Barcelona and has been putting in great performances. The Blaugranas have quickly secured him for the future.

Last season, when Xavi sent out a lad of only 15 years old, the whole footballing world wondered who he was. But Lamine Yamal quickly etched his name in the memory of all football fans.

He played against Tottenham in pre-season training and immediately went viral on the internet. He used his quick feet to dislodge Sergio Reguilón and set up Barcelona’s goal.

Logically, he became the youngest Barcelona player ever to play for the club. And the chance didn’t wait long in the season either. Already in the second round against Cádiz, he got into the starting line-up and gave a very decent performance.

He stayed there in the wild duel at Villarreal and was one of the best players of the match in the 4:3 win, scoring an assist and his extra shot was finished by Lewandowski, which was the winning goal.

Luis de la Fuente did not spare any effort and immediately nominated him to the Spanish senior national team. Yamal became the youngest player ever to play for La Roja, marking another milestone.

He scored on his debut in the match against Georgia and became the youngest scorer in the Spanish national team.
