Vojto Barborík, 28, is one of the biggest Slovak aspirants to move to the best organizations in the world. But to do that he needs a win over Ivan Buchinger, who he will face on Saturday.
Vojto Barborik has a clear goal in front of him, he must defeat Ivan Buchinger on Saturday and win the title in the Czech-Slovak Oktagon organization.
But his plans definitely don’t end there. Thanks to this win he would be a hot aspirant to move to the most prestigious organizations in the world.
This was confirmed by the foreign portal MMA Junkie, which ranked him among the top five fighters who could soon get into the UFC or Bellator.
And why Barborik? Because the 28-year-old fighter last lost in 2014, which is also his only defeat in professional MMA.
His record is 13:1 and he is currently on a ten-fight unbeaten streak. Still, he won’t be a favorite in his fight with Ivan Buchinger.
At least that’s what the bookmakers say, who favour Buchiger at odds of 1.77, while Barborik has odds of 2.00. However, it should be added that 57% of people are betting on Barborik and this number continues to increase.
