Bale upsets Real Madrid: He won’t play in club games, but he’s coming to Wales clash
The season before last, Gareth Bale did everything he could to turn all Real Madrid fans against him. At the beginning of the current one, however, he slowly started to win them back with his performances, but another incomprehensible move came.
The season before last, Gareth Bale did everything he could to turn all Real Madrid fans against him. At the beginning of the current one, however, he slowly started to win them back with his performances, but another incomprehensible move came.
You may remember Bale’s fight against the royal club. He celebrated at the Wales game with a flag that read. Golf. Madrid. In that order,” another time he sabotaged his club’s match by putting a blindfold over his mouth in the stands and pretending he didn’t care about the match.
On one occasion, he also left the stadium early after being substituted, or went to play golf during an important match against Barcelona. Bale simply did everything he could to antagonise Real Madrid fans. After a loan spell at Tottenham, he returned to Spain and since nobody wanted him because of his big salary, he stayed at the Santiago Bernabéu.
And new coach Carlo Ancelotti decided to give him one more chance. In the first three league games he started in the starting line-up and performed very well, scoring one goal in Levante’s net. It looked like Los Blancos fans would take him at their mercy.
But then he went to the national team meeting, where he scored a hat-trick for Belarus, but then got injured in the match against Estonia. A knee injury sidelined him for a very long time, and he has been out since September 8.
He has missed 11 competitive matches for Real Madrid and also the national team reunion. He was originally scheduled to return for Wednesday’s Champions League game against Shakhtar, but the date was later moved to this weekend’s game against Rayo Vallecano. But Bale’s problems are dragging on and Ancelotti won’t be able to count on him for either game.
Nevertheless, after the game against Vallecano, Bale will still go to the Wales national team meeting, where he has been nominated again. Wales will first play Belarus in World Cup qualifying, then challenge Belgium.
This should have angered the White Ballet management, who were definitely not counting on Bale’s nomination. the 32-year-old hasn’t kicked a ball for almost exactly 2 months, he is unable to play for the club, but he should leave for the national team meeting.
It’s not a big secret that Wales is more important to Bale than the club, he has made that clear on several occasions. However, he should realise who is paying him and that such behaviour is not entirely appropriate.
