Awkward! Spanish TV waited outside the hotel for Barcelona management, a prostitute came out of the car
You don’t just see that. A reporter for Spanish TV’s El Chirinquito had a truly bizarre moment. He was waiting for a representative of the Catalan club in front of the Barcelona hotel and when he wanted to start the interview, a group of ladies got out of the car instead of the president Joan Laporta.

The Spanish sports programme El Chirinquito de Jugones is known for having some of the occasional bizarre things on its conscience. On the one hand, it’s a detailed show that breaks down all sorts of things that happen in Spanish football for hours at a time, but it does a lot for ratings.
At the moment, Barcelona are in Manchester, where they will face United tonight at 9pm for progression from the 1/16 final of the Europa League.
El Chirinquito reporter José Álvarez, who covers Barcelona, has also travelled to England. He joined the television live outside Barcelona’s hotel.
Together with José Pedrerol, they are discussing the situation surrounding Enríquez Negreira and his payments from Barcelona, when suddenly Álvarez sees a van arriving. “Watch out, watch out, watch out, ” the reporter announces to the TV and the cameraman takes the arriving van.
Álvarez had already prepared his microphone, thinking it was a representative of Barcelona, or possibly the president, Joan Laporta. However, a scantily clad lady who has come to perform services at the hotel begins to emerge from the back seat.
“No, it’s nothing, it’s nothing,” Álvarez announces. But the show’s boss, Pedrerol, misunderstands what is happening and instructs a colleague in Manchester to bring the van closer. “No, I can’t get a lock on it,” says a puzzled Álvarez.
“Um, it was… a hotel client,” the reporter snaps, surprised. “Oh, relax, if you want, turn the camera on the wall, ” Pedrerol tells him. “It was a typical Barcelona executive van, so I was confused,” laughs Álvarez.
