AS Roma vs. Spezia: Preview and betting tips

AS Roma and Spezia will play the 17th round of Serie A. The home side can return to the Top 6 if they win, while the visitors would escape the relegation zone. What to expect from the match?
The league season is not going ideally for AS Roma. The Wolves are only eighth in the table, on the other hand, they are only five points behind fifth-placed Fiorentina. In the event of a win, AS will jump to sixth place ahead of Juventus.
Spezia, according to pre-season expectations, is fighting for bare survival. With twelve points, they are in sixteenth place, just two points behind eighteenth-placed Genoa. The fact that they have the second worst goal difference in the whole league (-19) speaks about the miserable form of the visitors.
AS’s mainstay after arriving from Chelsea is English striker Tammy Abraham, through all competitions he has scored ten goals and assisted twice. The team captain Lorenzo Pellegrini boasts a record of 8+3.
There are not many scorers in the jersey of Spezia. The left winger Emmanuel Gyasi has scored three times so far, as has Daniele Verde (3+2). The Ukrainian international Viktor Kovalenko (1+2) is also performing well.
Jose Mourinho’s charges are not really rolling in Serie A, losing their last two games and scoring one or even no goals in three of their last six games.
Spezia, on the other hand, have been conceding a lot of goals for a long time, 36 goals in their net being the highest number after the last Salernitana. Moreover, in the last five games Spezia have scored ten goals.
Considering the miserable form of the visitors’ defence, I think Mourinho’s players will shoot and win by at least two goals.
