Arsenal vs. Newcastle: Preview and betting tips
Arsenal welcome Newcastle in the thirteenth round of the Premier League. Both teams need three points, the home team want to keep in touch with the top of the competition, the visitors are still waiting for their first win this league season.

Arsenal, despite a poor start to the season, are in the Top 6, currently fifth and only three points behind fourth-placed West Ham. In the last round they lost 0:4 at Anfield, so they have a lot to give back to their fans.
Newcastle have a lot more to give back to their supporters, at least for the last five seasons. The new owner hasn’t made a coup yet, Newcastle are last with six points and five points behind the relegation zone.
The Canaries have had a good transfer window, with Nuno Tavares, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Aaron Ramsdale all performing above standard. Emile Smith-Rowe, author of four goals and two assists, has peeked into the senior England squad.
Newcastle are led by the French-English duo of Allan Saint-Maximin, Callum Wilson. The former scored three times and added three assists, while the latter opened the net four times. The rest of the team has struggled all season.
Arsenal rely on a solid defence, having only conceded against Liverpool in their last four games. That doesn’t play into the hands of Newcastle, who on the other hand have scored at least twice in only one of their last four games.
Given the woes of the Magpies and the good home form of the Canaries, I recommend betting on Arsenal to win and that at least two goals will be scored.
