Tuesday’s football programme will feature the London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea. Neither of the rivals is in ideal form, but both have different ambitions. What to expect from the match and what to bet on?

Arsenal have stuttered after an almost flawless season in April. It hasn’t won for four rounds in a row and Manchester City have leapfrogged it in the table. The Gunners are now a point down and Pep Guardiola’s charges still have a game to play.

Chelsea have been waiting for a win for eight long games, not helped by the return of Frank Lampard. The Blues are out of the Champions League and are only 12th in the table. The gap to the relegation zone is now only ten points.

Arsenal’s key figures

The Gunners rely on Bukaya Saku, the English winger has netted 14 goals and assisted 11. Gabriel Martinelli is having the most productive season of his career, he is currently on 15 goals and six assists.

Chelsea’s key figures

It’s hard to single out any individuality at all on the away side, with solid performances from Kepa Arrizabalaga in goal all season. Mykhailo Mudryk has been rampant from the wing, but lacks luck in the final third.

What to expect and what to bet on?

Arsenal rely on a goalscoring attack, with 78 shots they have the second best attack after a rampant Manchester City. It has scored more than one goal in nine of its last 11 games, including a four against a rampant Aston Villa.

Chelsea, on the other hand, are on a paltry 30 goals. It has scored a single goal in its last seven games, which is shameful considering the investment in reinforcements.

Considering the strength of the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium, the good form of Arsenal’s offense and given Chelsea’s woes on the attacking side, I think the home side will finally win after four games.
