Arsenal closer to the Champions League again! Aston Villa robbed by youngster Saka
Arsenal won the 30th round of the Premier League on Saturday, 1-0 at Aston Villa. The only goal of the match was scored by Bukayo Saka, then it was basically just a fight. The Gunners took a four-point lead in fourth place with the win.

Emile Smith-Rowe had the first chance of the game in the third minute, but he shot over the bar from a corner. The visitors were more active and in the tenth minute Kourtney House almost scored an own goal, the situation was solved by a save from goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.
In the 30th minute, the Gunners were celebrating. Bukayo Saka took the ball on the edge of the box and put Martinez through. The rest of the first half was more of a struggle, with Villans twice asking for a red card.
First, Saka’s ankle hit Tyrone Mings in a slip, then five minutes later Matty Cash brought down Kieran Tierney. On the first occasion a yellow card was awarded, Cash even got off with only a booking.
The Gunners entered the second half actively too, but Smith-Rowe only headed into the middle of the net, Martin Odegaard’s attempt blocked by the home defenders.
Aston Villa made their presence known in the 68th minute when Ollie Watkins’ shot ended up on the bar. The home side gradually took control of the game, but it didn’t lead to any big chances. Danny Ings scored in the 85th minute.
When Bernd Leno saved Philippe Coutinho in the last minute of stoppage time, the head referee called an end to the match. Arsenal are now just five points behind third-placed Chelsea after a 1-0 win, while Aston Villa remain ninth.
