The Argentine striker could leave AS Roma for a transfer fee of just twelve million euros, a clause valid until 15 January. Current market value of Paulo Dybala is twenty-five million euros, yet the player’s value is more than double that.

Argentine international Paulo Dybala, who transferred to AS Roma in 2022 from Juventus Turin as a free agent, could leave the Italian capital for a very affordable price considering the player’s qualities.

The Argentine striker could leave AS Roma for a transfer fee of just twelve million euros. This option can be exercised by any club until 15 January. If no club uses this option this winter, they will have another chance to acquire the player for the same price in the second period, from 1 to 31 July this summer.

The interesting thing about this option and the clause to sell the player for €12 million is that if any Italian club uses the clause, the transfer will be decided by Dybala’s current employer AS Roma. If a club outside of the Italian Serie A decides to use the exit clause, the decision will be up to the player himself.

Current season by Paulo Dybala

Dybala has been plagued by frequent injuries this season. We could see him in the return match against Slavia Prague, when he came on after an injury. Dybala is the leader of the team and one of the key players in coach Jose Mourinho’s club.

He has started 12 Serie A games this season, scoring four goals and assisting six more. This is a very decent record and an asset to the club, considering how few games he has played.

In the Italian Serie A, Dybala is underperforming expectations with AS Roma and is only seventh in the table with 28 points. He is 17 points behind leaders Inter Milan, who lead the table with 47 points. In the Europa League, AS Roma has reached the play-offs, where it will face Dutch club Feyenoord Rotterdam.

It is worth mentioning that Prague’s Slávie advanced from the first place, leaving behind AS Roma and Dybala, the aspirant for the first place in the Europa League group.

His price tag

As already mentioned, the current market value of the player according to Transfermarkt is €25 million. In his glory days, the player was worth around €110 million when he was defending the colours of the Old Lady. Paulo Dybala transferred to Juventus Turin for 41 million euros from Italian side US Palermo.

Given his age and price, he has a lot to offer. The player is only 30 years old and his main strengths are ball management, shooting and excellent technique. He will be a huge attraction for a lot of clubs on such favourable terms.
