Are Real Madrid planning a mega signing spree to convince French superstar Kylian Mbappé to sign?
Mega-rich and super-motivated Real Madrid appear to be on a mission to restore their standing as the biggest club in the world. After a few seasons off the pace (despite signing Jude Bellingham) in the galactico department and after confirming legendary trophy-winning Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti will be staying on despite a flirtatious Brazil fling, Chairman Florentino Pérez Rodríguez is getting the chequebook ready. Again. Will Kylian Mbappé join the Spanish giant?
French superstar striker Kylian Mbappé has just given up his reported 100 million euros bonus at PSG and appears ready for a move after winning it all (besides the Champions League) in Paris.
His current wages are (a reported) 1 million pounds per week and it will fascinating to see if Real can finally get their man. Image rights will surely be a massive factor in securing this important transfer.
Apart from Mbappé, Florentino Pérez is also targeting other signings
Bayern Munich and Canadian left back/left winger Alphonso Davies aka The Roadrunner, is a player to watch too. His name has been mentioned for a while now and seems likely to move to Madrid. He’s one of the best full backs in the world and would instantly upgrade the position.
Juan Luis Sánchez Velasco aka Juanlu is a 20-year-old Sevilla right back/right winger who has been heavily linked to make his big move. After 3 assists already this season, the Spain under 21 international has been in scintillating form and appears ready for a life-changing transfer to Madrid.
Pérez has made it clear that he wants Real Madrid back at the top and after seeing English teams dominate the transfer window recently. He appears anxious to change the perception and grab all the headlines again. With a new $1BN stadium upgrade, the time is now it seems.
With Liverpool seemingly in the hunt for Mbappé, it will be interesting to see how aggressive Madrid are in bagging their main man once and for all after years of transfer speculation.
With Bellingham running the show and scoring at will, Real fans must be licking their lips in anticipation of signing one of the worlds best players.
