Anyone got any beer? Thanks! De Bruyne made fun of Arsenal fans
Kevin De Bruyne was once again Manchester City’s main man in the showpiece against Arsenal. He scored the first goal of the match, assisted the next and put the Citizens in the lead of the table. The home supporters threw beer cups at him during the substitution, which the Belgian midfielder joked about.

For many years now, there has been no better midfielder running around the Premier League than Kevin De Bruyne. The 31-year-old Manchester City midfielder was once again a key player in an important game.
Arsenal had a three-point lead before the game and the match to spare. If they had beaten their rivals and managed a game to spare, they would have led the league by nine points. The Citizens knew so well that they could not afford to lose.
And so, as he has so many times in recent years, De Bruyne took the baton. Already in the first half he sniffed out a huge mistake from Tomiyasu, caught his little home run and flicked over Ramsdale.
He continued his great performance and was there for most of the essentials. Arsenal did equalise, but the Citizens went back in front thanks to Grealish. It would have been a very exciting end to the game, but De Bruyne didn’t allow it.
He broke into the box, found Haaland and he added the insurance to make it 3-1. In the 86th minute, Pep Guardiola reached for the maintenance of the lead and replaced the Belgian offensive midfielder with the more defensive Kalvin Phillips.
As De Bruyne walked past the home stands, angry fans threw cups at him. The Belgian midfielder was visibly enjoying the frustration at Emirates Stadium.
He laughed about the whole situation on Instagram afterwards. “Anyone got any beer? ” he wrote on the first photo. “Thank you!” he captioned the second photo of a cup flying at him.
