He spent last season on loan at Slovan Bratislava. Twenty-five-year-old striker Samuel Mraz, who belongs to Italian side Spezia, is now heading to Russia. He has thus imitated Slovak hockey players who were widely criticised for this move.

Samuel Mraz played nineteen league games for Slovan Bratislava in the 2021/22 season, scoring seven goals. However, even that was not enough for the Bratislava club to exercise the option.

Mráz is still a player of the Italian club Spezia, to which he transferred from Empoli last summer. However, according to the latest information, he should not stay in Italy.

The player has attracted the attention of the Russian club PFC Sochi, which has its teeth set on him. The Italian club is expected to offer 700,000 euros for Mraz.

However, it is a question how the player himself would feel about such a transfer. After all, nowadays it is not wise to go to Russia for an engagement.

If Frost moves to Sochi, he will be widely criticized, just like the Slovakian hockey players who made a similar move before him.

And it has to be said, deservedly so. After all, you can’t be part of the propaganda of a country that takes the lives of innocent people in Ukraine every day.
