Another player with Barcelona past heading to Vissel Kobe

Japanese club Vissel Kobe has several players with Barcelona background in their team. And now another one has been added. The 30-year-old Bojan Krkić, who comes as a free player.

The 30-year-old striker Bojan Krkić has signed for his new club until 30 January 2023. The Japanese club did not have to pay any money for him, as the Liñola native has been a free agent since 1 January.

Krkić’s last club was Canadian MLS team Club de Foot Montréal. The former Barcelona player played a total of 31 games for the club, scoring 7 goals and adding 4 assists.

Bojan is an offensive all-rounder, he can play on both wings and on the wing, but his most natural position is second striker, with a player operating above him.

At his new club, he’ll run straight into 3 other players with Barcelona backgrounds. They are Thomas Vermaelen, Sergi Samper and Andrés Iniesta. In the recent past, David Villa, who also wore the Barcelona jersey, has also worked at the Japanese club.
