Another Czech to the UFC? But first Kincl has to make it through a key fight
Patrik Kincl has the biggest game of his career ahead of him. In September he will fight for the title in the Polish KSW organization. Apparently, a transfer to another organization is still in the cards. Will he complement his compatriots in the UFC?
Patrik Kincl has the biggest game of his career ahead of him. In September he will fight for the title in the Polish KSW organization. Apparently, a transfer to another organization is still in the cards. Will he complement his compatriots in the UFC?
In just one month, Patrik Kinzl will have the biggest fight of his career. He will face Roberto Soldic, who has a record of 18-3 with 16 wins before the limit, for the KSW Welterweight title.
But the Czech wrestler definitely has the quality to win the belt. Besides, he has more motivation than just winning the title itself. In fact, he is in contact with another organization, which he did not name.
“I know there is some contact with another organization. But this will be dealt with after the fight. I have an agreement with KSW that they are willing to go along with me and terminate my contract and let me leave even if I win the title,” he told Kaocko.cz.
We will have to wait for confirmation if this is indeed the so-called Champions League.
Currently, the Czech Republic is represented in the UFC by Makmud Muradov, Jiri Prochazka and David Dvorak, the latter of whom was helped by Kincl with his journey to the UFC and is in regular contact with the organization.
Moreover, the top MMA organization has known about Kincl for a long time. In the past, he could have presented himself at a tournament in London, but he refused. Instead, he was preparing for a fight with Karlos Vemola, which he eventually lost.
Now there is nothing to do but wait for September.
