The speculation about where Manchester United player Donny Van de Beek should play in the next part of the competition has not subsided. Crystal Palace and Valencia have already shown interest in him last week. Now, another Premier League club is entering the game, namely Everton.
While Crystal Palace have been progressing negotiations since Wednesday, Everton have also newly entered the race to acquire him with manager Frank Lampard. This is confirmed by the twitter account of Fabrizio Romano, who has been following the whole situation regarding Donny.
Both Everton and Crystal Palace are in talks over the form of a loan deal. Manchester United will reportedly not agree to any buy option clause. He only wants to negotiate an outright loan deal.
Manchester United manager Ralph Ragnick does not want to lose Van de Beek completely. There is no danger of him being sold. The German coach is counting on him until next season.
Donny Van de Beek has not yet lived up to expectations. He’s only been on the bench for most of the season. He has only two goals in 27 league games. His guest appearance would therefore make sense. The player would get more playing time and get even more accustomed to the Premier League.
In the last season before his transfer to Manchester United, he still recorded incredible numbers in the Ajax jersey. In 23 games, he scored 8 goals and added 5 assists.
Who will eventually get the Dutch midfielder will be revealed in the coming days. He is probably already out of the game for Valencia, who are said to be focusing on other targets than Van de Beek.
