Ancelotti to Manchester United? The Italian coach reportedly has this offer on the table

Carlo Ancelotti has been filling the headlines perhaps more than ever lately. The Italian coach is mostly linked with a move to Brazil, where he could take over the national team. Now, however, there is talk in Spain that an offer from Manchester United has landed on his desk.

Ancelotti at Real Madrid

Being the coach of Real Madrid is no mean feat. Ancelotti has already found out. He has already coached the White Ballet once from 2013 to the spring of 2015. Back then, he left after 119 coaching matches. So now he’s at a higher number, having played 136 games to date. It is therefore the second longest engagement after AC Milan (420 games).

“They say I’m old school, but I’ve been here for 30 years,” the Italian coach was recently quoted as saying in an interview with Diario AS, but so far the 64-year-old has been performing well with his team.

In the Champions League, Real Madrid have won all their matches and in La Liga they have lost only once to Atlético Madrid. However, apart from two draws with Sevilla and Vallecano, he has won all the other matches. So it looks like another great season. But even so, there is more and more talk of him leaving next year.

Brazil

In recent weeks, the most talked about departure to the Brazilian national team. The latter is not in a good situation at all, having failed to qualify for the World Cup. In addition, the Canaries don’t have a permanent coach as Fernando Diniz is leading them for the time being. José Mourinho also commented on this topic in a press conference and he sees it as a possibility for the Italian to stay in the Spanish capital.

Moreover, Ancelotti has a contract with Real Madrid until the end of this season. Spanish newspapers are talking about the fact that Florentino Pérez would like to add fresh breath to the team. The question is whether he will want to change something that is working so well. However, the season is being evaluated at the end and so far the White Ballet has not won any trophies.

Manchester United

Manchester United are in a lot of trouble. There is talk of Erik ten Hag losing the booth. The results and especially the performances are definitely far beyond expectations. If this doesn’t change quickly, you can count on the management thinking a lot about change.

However, according to Madrid Xtra, the Red Devils have already held talks and should offer Ancelotti an engagement. However, whether it will be an interesting option for the Italian coach remains to be seen next year. But as you can see, he has no shortage of offers.
