Slavia was the favourite in the match with LASK Linz and confirmed it from the first minute. Yira Sor scored right in the third, but he still played his part in the match.
He burned several chances, but in the 29th minute he increased the lead after getting around the goalkeeper. Slavia went for the win and it could have been with an even bigger difference.
The Prague club had several chances, Alexander Bah hit the bar from long range when the LASK goalkeeper was out of position.
However, captain Peter Olayinka also hit the post and was very angry with himself afterwards. Linz reduced the score to 1:2 from the subsequent counter-attack.
It was Olayinka who passed the ball to Husein Balić, who sent a great shot that ended up in the net of goalkeeper Ales Mandous.
The Nigerian winger then handed over the captain’s armband after the arrival of Stanislav Tecla, but the experienced striker kept it.
