On Thursday evening, Slavia will face a rematch with Legia for promotion to the Europa League. Who can Jindřich Trpišovský not count on due to injury and who will start in the starting line-up?
In the first leg, Slavia drew 2-2 at home, although they had plenty of chances and Legia hardly got anything. Improving efficiency is the main goal of the Susians.
Ondřej Kolář will surely start in goal, which was also stated by Jindřich Trpišovský, who still has great faith in his number one. Captain Jan Bořil will finally start at left back, and Ondřej Kúdela will return alongside him. Two hugely important members of the Sešiovan line-up.
However, besides Kúdela, it is not clear who will start. In the spring, he was great with Zima, but his performance without his older partner dropped considerably. So it is more likely that Kacharaba will start next to Kudela. Bah will undoubtedly start on the right side.
The centre of midfield is another nut to crack. Daniel Samek, 17, has earned a chance with his great performance against Baník, but it is not too much to expect that coach Trpišovský would put the youngster in such a heated duel. Holeš and Hromadou will probably fill the shield midfielders’ position, while Nicolae Stanciu will surely jump in front of them.
Abdallah Sima and Ubong Ekpai are likely to jump on the flanks. Ivan Schranz will be at the tip of the attack.
Jindřich Trpišovský cannot count on Plavšić, Kuchta, Olayinka, Provode, Hovorka, Masopust and Ševčík due to health reasons. Oscar Dorley will serve his suspension for 3 yellow cards. Michael Krmencik is ready to play part of the game.
Probable line-up of Slavia::
Kolar
Bah – Kacharaba – Kúdela – Bořil
Holeš – Hromada
Stanciu
Ekpai – Schranz – Sima
