Dani Alves is one of the greatest legends of Barcelona at least in this millennium. His return to Catalonia has made all the fans of the famous club happy. Even the Brazilian himself is happy about his return. However, he does not like one thing.
According to the Brazilian footballer, the atmosphere at the club is different than before, because he misses Lionel Messi, who has been wearing the jersey of French PSG since the summer.
Alves claims that Messi is the best player not only in the history of Barcelona, but in the history of world football in general.
“It’s strange to be here and not see him, not have him in the squad. Sometimes things don’t go the way we dream. I’ve already told him that he won’t find a better place than here. When I left, he told me the same thing. It would be great if he finished his career here. Itwould be a great gift for him, the club should take care of it,” Alves expressed in an interview with Catalunya Radio.
Messi played 778 competitive matches for Barcelona between 2004 and 2021, scoring 672 goals. He has helped the Catalan team to win 35 trophies.
The Argentine has also broken many records in Catalonia, both in the Spanish league and in the history of world football.
Messi signed a two-year contract in Paris, and is currently 34 years old. His eventual return to Camp Nou would certainly be spectacular.
