In 2016, Amazon introduced the All or Nothing project on its streaming platform Amazon Prime. It is also directed by the American company. Initially, the project focused on American football teams from the NFL, but then expanded to football, hockey and rugby.

All or Nothing was intended to provide a look behind the scenes of the major sports clubs. Whether it was training sessions, interviews with players or a direct look inside the booth during a match.

For the first series of this project, the production went to the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals, where they spent the entire 2015 season with the team. In that game, they narrowly missed the Super Bowl when the team lost in the NFC Finals. A year later, the All or Nothing project remained in the American NFL, but this time with the Los Angeles Rams, who did not make the playoffs.

In 2018, things took a completely different turn. There were four series of All or Nothing. The first was from the 2017 season with the Dallas Cowboys. The second series was also from an American football setting, but a college one, the crew spent the 2017 season with the Michigan Wolverines. The third series followed the entire 2017 season of the New Zealand national rugby team.

The last series has already provided European viewers with arguably the most interesting content. All or Nothing spent the 2017/18 season with English giants Manchester City. The series features all the stars of the English team, which finished the season with four trophies and a Premier League record, right down to a look inside the cabin of famous coach Pep Guardiola.

Unlike 2018, the following year was a little more modest with the series. Only one series was released in 2019, specifically from the 2018 NFL season, which the All or Nothing crew spent with the Carolina Panthers.

In 2020, on the other hand, Amazon delighted viewers with three straight series. The last one was from the American NFL, which the crew spent this time with the Philadelphia Eagles. After that, he followed the exploits of the Brazilian national team, led by the star Neymar, during their journey to win the Copa América in 2019.

After that, All or Nothing returned to the Premier League, specifically to London-based Tottenham Hotspur. The beginning of the series is dedicated to the sacking of coach Mauricio Pochettino and his replacement by famous coach José Mourinho. The opening of a new luxury stadium also plays a role here. But the biggest influence on this series has been the COVID-19 pandemic.

A year later, in 2021, two series were released. In the first, the All or Nothing crew went to a hockey environment for the first time, specifically to Canada to the Toronto Maple Leafs. The second series again involved soccer, but this time the production chose the Juventus team. In this series we can see, among others, Pavel Nedved, who was then the vice-president of the Italian club.

In 2022, another series was released, which delighted all football fans. The crew headed to the British Isles again, this time to Arsenal. The team was led by Mikel Arteta, whom we have already seen in All or Nothing: Manchester City, where he was an assistant to Guardiola.

For now, the last series was released in 2023. All or Nothing went with the German national team to Qatar for the World Cup. At this tournament, the team wanted to atone for their early elimination from the previous championship. However, under new coach Hans Flick, the team failed to advance even out of the group stage.
