Al-Hilal, a club from Saudi Arabia, has recently been linked with the possible summer arrival of Lionel Messi, who is set to end up at Paris Saint-Germain. However, he is not the only player this club is interested in. Neymar is also in his sights.
According to some media reports, Messi has even had contract negotiations with Al-Hilal officials. It is more than clear that he will not continue at PSG. Other options are the American MLS or a return to Barcelona.
Whatever happens with Messi, Al-Hilal will not be idle. The Saudi Premier League participant would also like to acquire Neymar.
He is still under contract at PSG for two more seasons and his price tag is estimated at just under €60 million according to Transfermarkt .
However, money is not a problem for Al-Hilal, this wealthy club was supposed to offer Messi an annual salary of astronomical 400 million euros, according to some sources. And a fat salary would undoubtedly await Neymar as well.
He has it all bent at PSG, recently taking time off for personal reasons and then flying to Barcelona to celebrate its title. And it wasn’t the first similar transgression he committed in the French club.
According to Transfermarkt and Fichajes websites, after Messi, Neymar is the next summer transfer target of the Saudi giant, which will do everything to bring at least one world superstar.
The Brazilian could thus meet again in the same league with Cristiano Ronaldo (who is at Al-Nasser), with whom he and Messi have had memorable duels in the past in Spanish La Liga matches (Barcelona vs. Real Madrid).
